Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing 100 percent oxygen in a pressured tube (referred to as a chamber). Inside the chamber, your lungs can transfer more oxygen than would be possible when simply breathing in a normal environment. Patients typically experience a five times oxygen increase in the chamber which helps to overcome healing deficits and promote healing.

Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring

Transcutaneous oxygen monitoring measures oxygen delivery to the skin from underlying tissue. Oxygen levels are measured with a non-invasive set of electrodes placed on the chest, and a second set placed around the legs or feet. The electrodes may mildly heat the skin to increase blood flow into the area.
