October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Throughout October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mountain Vista Medical Center is offering complimentary screening mammograms.

A mammogram is a safe, low-dose X-ray that can detect irregularities in the breast, sometimes
even before you or your doctor can feel a lump. Mammograms are the best way to detect breast
cancer early, and increase your chances of a successful fight against breast cancer.

The screening is not valid for patients with breast implants or pre-existing conditions.
This is a screening only and the radiologist may be unavailable to review your images before you leave. Your results will be sent to your physician.
